Anna was a female character in Alone in the Dark (2008). She becomes the first person that Carnby witnesses be taken by a Fissure and later turned into a Humanz.

Background

Secretary of the Psychologist's Office in New York, Anna is a very common woman. Before the disaster in the city proves very frightening, screaming, crying, and sometimes he is thrown away from scattered phrases. However, it is among the first people to realize that the cracks that destroy the hotel have their own life, and it is also very enterprising when, despite the fears, they venture into the cornices of the hotel to look for a way to escape. It is unclear whether there is a relationship with the psychologist for which she works for is purely of a professional nature or if the two are also sentimentally linked, in the short circumstance in which he has to deal with them the girl remains disgusted by her materialism and calls it "a Bastard".

Anna was a female who was found by Carnby after escaping from the Liftshaft of a flaming apartment. She pleads with Carnby to help her friend, who was behind a locked or jammed and was too injured to knock it down. Her name was only revealed by her friend, after rescuing him. She was also panic stricken due to witnessing the living cracks in the walls, saying that they were after them.

Strategy

When Anna has become Humanz she attacks Carnby with her hands. There is a sword on the floor nearby that Carnby can use to defend himself, it would only be able to temporarily incapacitate it. Like the rest of the Humanz, it can only be destroyed with fire, thus Carnby has to pick up a chair, hold a chair next to a fire, and then hit the possessed thing with the fiery tip, which dissolved the body into nothing.
