The Ballroom is a dance hall located on the first floor, which is either accessed via either the locked door in the Drawing Room or the door to the Forest Room.
On one side of the room is a fireplace, and on its mantle is the Pirate Chest Key needed later on in the Underground Piers section beneath Derceto. The mantle is blocked by a row of still ghost dancers who will only move out of the way when you play the Record, Camille Saint-Saëns' Danse Macabre aka The Dance of Death.
Strategy[]
This is easily the hardest part of the game, remember to save. First thing: Do not touch the dancers. Observe their pattern of dancing, grab the key and get out of the room, they should vanish upon exiting the room with the key. Only playing the Dance of Death Record makes them move, other Records will seem to be disliked by them and have no effect.
