The Box of matches was an item that can be found in both Alone in the Dark (1992) and Alone in the Dark 3.
Alone in the Dark
The Box of Matches is an item which is found in the Living Room on the second floor of Derceto. It is located to the left of the fireplace near the poker. It can be used to light the Lamp. Unlike the Lighter, If the Box of Matches gets wet in the water areas near the end of the game, the item will be useless.
