The Derringer is a weapon featured in Alone in the Dark 2.
Overview[]
When Carnby gets in the Billiards Room, on the second Floor of Hell's Kitchen, De Witt slides the derringer to Carnby's side of the pool table, challenging him to a duel.
It has 10 bullets and is not reloadable, however it is a good choice for its rate of fire being higher than the rifle, but lower than the Thompson.
It is confiscated from Carnby when Elisabeth Jarret captures him. The Derringer does not have as much ammo as the other weapons.
Trivia[]
- The Derringer's design seems mostly based on the Sharps Pepperbox Pistol. However, Sharps' model has four barrels while the Derringer in the game has two like the popular Remington Model 95.
