The Revolver is a weapon featured in Alone in the Dark (1992), Alone in the Dark 2 and Alone in the Dark 3

Alone in the Dark[]
Carnby can retrieve the revolver in a side room of Derceto's kitchen . Examining the pile of coal that will be on the ground you will be able to recover a shoe box inside which the gun is hidden. The revolver will initially contain 6 bullets, to which 12 more can be added in the Cellar of the villa and on the dresser of one of the guest bedrooms on the first floor. Despite the difficulty pointing and the slowness of fire is a good weapon to defend against slower enemies, causing serious damage. Unlike the gun cartridges, the revolver ammunition will not become useless when the player enters the water making the weapon effective in all situations.
Alone in the Dark 2[]
The revolver is already present in Carnby's inventory at the start of the game with 6 bullets in charge. The weapon will be lost by the detective when he falls into Hell's Kitchen's cavern, falling into a ravine.
Alone in the Dark 3[]
Just like in the previous game, Carnby starts off with this weapon.
Trivia[]
- The revolver is one of the most prominent weapon in all of the trilogy. Besides the updating graphics, the revolver remains the same in terms of structure, changing only the color.
- The weapon appears to be based off of the Colt Detective Special.
